Social Services

Integrate Your Social Media Content & Networks

With Facebook, you can gain a bigger social media following by integrating Facebook "Like" and "Follow" buttons, embedding your public Facebook posts, or even adding a Facebook comment section directly into your website. Easily share your website content links on timelines, in groups, or to friends via a Facebook Message, or even steer traffic from Facebook to your website. Visitors who come to your website can be exposed to stronger marketing messages and, often, the option of buying goods and services.

Facebook also offers advanced features such as their "Login with Facebook" tool, game platform, social application center, and media & newsfeed widgets.

WMS encourages you to syndicate your public Twitter timeline to your website. All feeds are interactive and enable your visitors to "Reply", "Retweet", and/or "Favorite" Tweets directly from your site. An integrated Tweet box encourages users to respond or start new conversations.

Common uses...

Individuals and businesses all over the world rely on Twitter to reach their growing audiences. Celebrities use Twitter to connect directly with their users in a way that wasn't possible a generation ago. Politicians are tweeting behind closed doors, and storm disasters are reported as they are happening.

It's difficult to go anywhere on the internet without seeing Google. They are your search engines, email (Gmail), social networking (Hangout, Chat, Talk), advertising (Adwords), cell phone & mobile applications (Android), browser (Chrome), cute kittens (YouTube), mapping software (Google Earth), and so much more. For most of us versed in the web world, Google is actually pretty difficult to avoid!!

One of Google's most prominent web tools, Google Analytics, helps you learn about your website so you can make it more useful for visitors. Each WMS Site includes a custom Google Analytics chart incorporated directly into the base administrative panel, so you can easily compare key traffic statistics across any period of time, see which websites are referring traffic to your site, and even see which browsers access your site for targeted design and compatability. Most companies that have a physical location will use Google Maps to showcase their position. There's really no end to the ways in which Google can help your business succeed in the web world.

Similar to Google, Yahoo has also made a major footprint on the internet. In addition to it's search engines and email services, Yahoo has a vast developer network filled with advanced API's to help your website connect with the entire world's data.

By creating highly personalized experiences for our users, we keep people connected to what matters most to them, across devices and around the world

Between accessing data on Fantasy Sports, sharing your photos via Flickr, or utilizing the Finance API's to deliver near real-time stock quotes to your users, Yahoo's capability of integrating and advancing your website is undeniable.

In "The currency of the new economy is trust", Rachel Botsman discusses how important reputation is to a growing business, and how she sees this extending into the future.

WMS can integrate any social networking site or rss feed directly onto your site. Whatever you have, we can integrate...

  • MySpace
  • LinkedIn
  • Instagram
  • Flickr
  • YouTube
  • and many more!!

Dynamic Services

Keep your audience interested with evolving content

A CMS, or Content Management System, is a place where you can manage the content on your site, which includes the text, images, & look or feel. A custom CMS can be integrated into the WMS Admin Panel. Through this interface, you can also:

  • View Domain's Traffic Statistics
  • Review All Contact Messages Sent Through the Website
  • Manage your user/domain profile
  • Request Maintenance
  • Update/Add Photos to Gallery
  • Add Calendar Events
  • Initiate Newsletter Campaigns and Manage Subscriptions
  • Manage Advertising Network
  • Add/Edit products and Services
  • ...and more!

You may need to allow users to login to your site. For example, you run an ecommerce site, and want people to be able to log in and view their order. Or you want to give users the ability to log in and comment/rate articles, services, etc. We can even give users the ability to create a public profile, with various information, avatars, photos, videos, and so on.

Manage a Calendar to show your customers when your hotel is booked, when your next event is, or when you are available to cut their grass. Combine a user login with a calendar, and let your users book their hotel stays, a spot in your event, or even your lawn care service!

Email newsletters, or email marketing campaigns, are a great way to make sure your customers remember you. They are also a much cheaper alternative (and more environmentally friendly) way of getting your message across than an actual newsletter. If you don't have a newsletter, then publishing one is probably the single-highest return on investment action you can take to improve your online activities. If you do have a newsletter, then improving it will likely make it several times more valuable. They should be generally educational - a good rule of thumb is 75% educational, 25% promotional (aka, advertising).

You can integrate a third party newsletter service such as MailChimp or Constant Contact, or automate a newsletter directly through the admin panel that feeds off the information from your site, such as new events, blog postings, and more. Build your own custom template, or choose from many thousands of prebuilt options.

Blogs are a great way to showcase your business acumen, attract the right kind of clients, improve search engine ranks, and are generally useful to get information out to the public. Third party hosted blogs such as blogger can be integrated into your website, or you can build your own custom blogging software right in the WMS Admin Panel.

Keep visitors coming back with new stories. Involve your users with ratings and comments, or even boost your social media and online presence.

Forms are probably one of the most useful parts of an entire web page. They allow your users to interact with you in a variety of ways, whether by sending you a quick contact message, changing their profile information, commenting on a blog, or buying your products. They can automate your registration to an event, or even be used to fill out a college application. Forms are what make the internet....the internet....

SEO, or Search Engine Optimization, is, essentially, trying to get better natural or "organic" rankings from search engines. It is Google's (and other search engines such as Yahoo or Bing) responsibility to match the user with content most applicable to their search. Many things come into play that ultimately determine your rank on the list, including how long your web site has been around (your longevity), how many other websites link to your website (your credibility), how much traffic your site has, and, of course, the content on your site, which is where SEO is most important.

In order to optimize a site, you have to figure out what you want to optimize around, your keywords - what you would expect your clients to search in order to find you (your name, product, etc). Once you have chosen your keywords, the next step is to refine your list based on "competitiveness". For example, choosing a keyword such as "internet" may best describe you, but you are competing with millions of other people who have chosen to optimize around that keyword. The more specific you are in describing your content, the more likely you are to land visitors who are (1) actually looking for you, and (2) will stay once they found you.

Now that you have chosen your keywords, these need to be coded into your site from the beginning. From the selection of your domain name, to the naming of your files, to filling in your html tags, these keywords are vital to your customers finding you!

SEO and keyword placement will only get you so far in search engine rankings. Luckily, you can always pay for your spot. Google Adwords lets you take those same keywords that you researched and capitalized on from an SEO standpoint, and buy ad space. The effect of buying ad space is two-fold: (1) It gets you content-appropriate traffic, and (2) It drives up your organic search engine rank by increasing the amount of traffic that goes through your site. So even when you stop paying for ads, your search engine ranking will still remain higher than it would have been otherwise.

Of course, Google is not the only place to go for ad space. There are a multiple of other places to go such as Yahoo, Facebook, or....the entire internet..... And there are other ways of going about advertising, such as joining an affiliate network - or even creating one!! Opportunities for getting yourself seen are everywhere....and are only worth something if you have a strong, professional website supporting it.

Mobile Services

Ensure your content looks good and works everywhere!

There are numerous avenues for getting your videos online, including YouTube, Ustream, or Vimeo. Each has various options for streaming, recording, or uploading videos. YouTube has a massive audience, which means that each time you load a video, the possibility of your video being seen increases greatly. YouTube is also 100% free to use, fully customizable and allows for unlimited uploads. Viewers can easily subscribe to YouTube Channels, as well as comment and rate your material. Most importantly, between display ads, in-video ads and promoted videos, if you want your video to be seen, you can pay to make it happen. In contrast, Vimeo is a more polished video viewing experience, without all the clutter and advertising distractions. The quality of the video is higher and there is no time length limit on the videos being uploaded (as opposed to YouTube, which limits uploads to 15 minutes without "special permission"). The community tends to be a more professional crowd, made up of filmmakers and film enthusiasts, and is a much more professional option to host your videos.

As far as live streaming goes, the largest option currently in the network is Ustream. Streaming is unlimited, and advertisements can be reduced with small fees. Ustream offers various ways for users to monetize on their content, including advertising splits, pay-per-view and subscription options. You can make a specific video private or only viewable by a group, or just make your entire channel private. Comment moderation is definitely a plus, and all videos can be recorded for later viewing. Other options for streaming include Justin.tv, Livestream, and Bambuser. All offer ways to easily integrate the videos into your website, without having to host the videos yourself, which can be very draining on limited server resources. More and more third party options are appearing, such as Facebook's Instagram, Yahoo's Flickr, or Twitter's Vine, and the line between images and videos is slowly blurring. There really is no end to places people go to view, upload, or even edit images and video content.

All sites come installed with a "responsive" design, which means that all websites are mobile-ready from the beginning. The styling of the page "responds" to a change in the the width of your screen. The content will look different as screen size changes. If you are viewing this website on your desktop or laptop, resize your browser's screen to see the "responsive" style in action -- the navigation at the top goes away, and you are presented with a drop down list, boxes expand or shrink, and content stacks, enabling a more personalized viewing experience.

The beauty of the internet is that the possibilities are literally limitless. Given this, it is impossible to capture every aspect of what can be done with a website online...websites can be as simple as a single image, or as complex as Facebook. The limitations are not on the capability of technology - once you imagine it, it can be built...the question is....will it?
